Newcastle United brought Gabriel Obertan from Manchester United. Obertan five-year contract at St James Park.

The Magpies boss Alan Pardew admire the speed and quality techniques that are owned Obertan. Pardew also assume Obertan physical progress in the last 12 months which is very useful in playing in the Premier League. Obertan added that his decision to join is inseparable from the history of Newcastle sweet.

The Frenchman bought the 22-year-old Manchester United from Girondins Bordeaux in July 2009. But he failed to penetrate the core team The Red Devils. Obertan admit it and say, need a club where he could get a chance to play more.

Obertan played 28 times for United and scored only one goal when it won 3-0 to Bursaspor in November 2010 in the Champions League. Joining Obertan increasingly thicken the aroma of French at St James Park. He recorded the fifth player in French after Demba Ba, Yohan Cabaye, Sylvain Marveaux, and Mehdi Abeid. (BBC)
