Lampard Still Want to Play For Higher Level

Lampard was still able to play at the highest level for several more years. Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard says he has not had a mind to retire in the near future.

"I always wanted to extend the contract. I feel fit enough and good enough to do this job," said Lampard.

Looking at his age, of course people will think that the golden age is over Lampard. He is currently aged 33 years. The new contract with Chelsea will end on June 30, 2013. However, he denied the presumption. He believes can still play up like the wings of Manchester United, Ryan Giggs, though no longer young.
"People will judge you up when entering the age of 30 years, but many are able to prove can still perform at its best. Giggs appear extraordinary when we fight in the quarterfinals of the Champions League last season and also in many other games, at the age of 37 years already, " said Lampard.
Lampard was trying to analyze why a former senior national team in England, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville, decided to retire when they passed the age of 35 years.

"I understand why Paul Scholes and Gary Neville felt their time was up. They can not feel happy as ever and has not played a lot. That's what makes them a pension. But, I never would have thought the same thing."
