Carlos Tevez certainly will not strengthen Manchester City in the Community Shield against Manchester United on Sunday. The reason, Coach Roberto Mancini extend the Argentina striker's holiday.
Tevez given time off after appearing in the Copa America 2011. He is scheduled to return to Eastlands on Thursday (08/04/2011). However, Manchester City allowed Tevez again on Monday (08/08/2011) and he is expected to open training session at Etihad Stadium, on Wednesday (08/10/2011).
"Carlos has been given permission to extend his vacation so he can come back on Monday which means 21 days after Argentina were knocked out of Copa America," said a spokesman for Manchester City.
Tevez himself has said it would not return to the City in June. He admitted to not stand being away from his family who live in Argentina. Former Manchester United player had a chance to groom the Corinthians. However, Tevez failed to move because there is an agreement between the two clubs.
However, rumors of Tevez's move continues. He mentioned will move to Inter Milan after Inter's sporting director known meeting, Marco Branca, in Argentina.
However, Mancini Tevez welcomes with open arms even if the City has managed to bring in Sergio Aguero is plotted as a replacement for Tevez.
